I have been a sports enthusiast for as long as I can remember! I believe that being fit in body will make you fit in mind. Back in 2006, I realized that the hours I had spent “pounding the pavement” while listening to the theme from Rocky, the millions of steps I had taken on the stair climber while listening to Eminem and the zillions of r.p.ms I had exhausted while spinning to Michael Jackson, had actually given me the strength and courage I needed to set my deepest destiny and purpose in motion. The same drive and dedication practiced in my work-outs eventually spilled over into my professional life and has allowed me to turn my passion for exercise, music and people into a successful gym! Setting and reaching new fitness goals and helping others to achieve their own has given me confidence and purpose in my life. My goal as a trainer is to help my clients discover their own untapped potential by encouraging them to surpass their perceived physical limitations and to help them realize how being physically fit will empower their lives.
My name is Fred Abraham. I'm a former arena football player who has always had a passion for fitness. I am naturally very competitive and believe that limits and goals are meant to be pushed until surpassed.Throughout my career I have learned what it takes to prepare the body to perform, maintain, and endure at it's highest potential. I have had great success in teaching and helping many high school, college, and pro athletes increase muscle mass, become stronger, faster, gain flexibility, and agility. I'm a firm believer in consistency and nutrition being a major part of the success in achieving body goals.
Between Physical Therapy and Personal Training I have over 12 years of experience working in Health and Fitness. While I have experience working with almost any type of client, I specialize in working with clients over 50 years old who understood that a well designed fitness routine is essential to their quality of life.
I believe that for long term health training time must be appropriately balanced between three key areas: Mobility, Strength Training, and Cardiovascular Exercise. My clients do not workout simply to burn calories, but to improve mobility, strength, and endurance.
Most adults have some sort of pain or movement restrictions that make certain types of exercise less than ideal. Trying to follow an exercise plan that is not built around your personal needs usually leads to pain and frustration. That is why it is so important to work with an experienced trainer like myself who understands how to find the exercises that work well for your body.
My name is Erin Clanton. I am a busy mother of 2 children with a 3rd on the way, a previous school teacher, a fitness instructor and wife to Owen. I have a passion for health and fitness and am a teacher by nature. I have been a part of the Project Fit family as an instructor since the doors opened on 7th and Common in January 2010. I lead SpinZone classes, Core Fusion classes, Functional fitness classes, and 30/30 combo classes. I also provide small group personal training classes and one-on-one training. My specialty is power yoga with expertise in proper alignment. I enjoy teaching private lessons as well as large classes. I am also certified in Barre. I have taught Barre at ProjectFit for several years.
I have been practicing yoga for over ten years and sharing the practice through his teaching since 2014. My style is influenced by Ashtanga Yoga, martial arts, & natural body movement. My Athletic Yoga class is designed to increase strength and endurance while promoting agility and flexibility. Remember that you don't have to be flexible to start practicing! It's all about being present within your unique experience and enjoying the practice of the ancient art of yoga.
My name is Ivan Harmon, I am a fitness professional here at ProjectFit. I
have been involved in fitness for 10 years. My journey began right out of
high school. My senior year I was 325 lbs, I was out of shape, got winded
easily, and I was unhappy with the person that I saw when I looked in the
mirror. I would keep to myself, find any reason not to leave the house
because I convinced myself that people were whispering bad things or
calling me names behind my back. They say there's no better revenge than
to succeed so one day I started to walk long distances daily, which turned
into walking further distances, then jogging. Soon after, purchased my
first gym membership and started reading health magazines to expand my
knowledge. A few years later, the gym became more than just an escape, it
became a necessity. I found self confidence and finally loved the person
that I saw in the mirror. I loved the feeling so much that I wanted to
help anyone struggling with overweight or low self esteem. If they knew
that they were one good decision away from a healthier life, the
possibilities could be endless. So I became certified, gained experience,
branched off to athletics for a while, but my drive for training will
always remain the same. It starts with one choice. Don't look back a year

My name is Justin Timpa. My primary interests are Neuroscience, Performance Psychology and Martial Arts. I began training and competing in Jiu Jitsu at the age of 18. I began training MMA in 2003. I now teach Jiu Jitsu, self-defense courses, and MMA. Both Jiu Jitsu and MMA have firmly instilled the values of humility, patience, and confidence in me. I also have an extensive baseball background and went semi-pro for two years. My experience in baseball taught me from an early age the importance of team work and the qualities of successful leadership. I enjoy training clients of all ages and fitness levels, but my true passion lies in training athletes.

As a former US Army Ranger, Tony found his love for fitness in Afghanistan. It was there that he realized that his fitness level could potentially save his fellow soldiers lives if the situation came about, and from there it took off.
Since he has returned, he has obtained numerous certifications, and trained all walks of life, from youth athletes, to senior citizens.
